What is a SQL Job? A job is a specified series of actions that SQL Server Agent performs. Use jobs to define an administrative task that can be run one or more times and monitored for success or failure.
Some examples of SQL Jobs are automatic weekly backup, writing log files, and audit logs.
SQLJOB is an add on our end. You can order it from member account---> Add ons ---> SQLJOB.
Since customers do not have permission to manage shared SQL server agent. Thus, you will need to provide the below info to our engineers and we will set up the SQLJOB for you.
- The database and the query you need to run
- The time to start your SQLJOB, you will need to specify the time and timezone
- The frequency to run your SQLJOB
We will manage the Job from SQL server directly, so if you need to check Job history or make changes on it, please contact our engineers from member account --->helpdesk panel.
